The Food Manifesto – a manifesto is a public declaration of intention. I’m the food curator for Dysphagia and provide the culinary support between your dietitian and kitchen. The Food Manifesto is an online culinary support member based community, specialising in helping people with dysphagia transition from PEG back to oral eating. I am a non for profit specialist for member based organisations. I am also a cooking instructor, a recipe developer & soup savant. I have built member numbers, produced and run countless events, marketed product and services, and built long standing relationships along the way.

Previous business cards have read: State Manager, Member Services, Event Manager, Executive Director, Sponsorship Manager, Marketing & Career Development, Lecturer & Recruiter. I am more than that, I am an Entrepreneur, a Blogger, Social media strategist, an E- commerce developer, Travel advocate, Life explorer, Food forager and Eco educator.

I believe that people will join a tribe when that tribe has an offer they can believe in with their gut and a brand promise that resonates with their long-term thinking. People will buy when they have been understood and the provision of goods or services fixes a problem, they can learn from other tribe members and feel part of the power of like mindedness.

My passion is to teach people where and how to find their tribe, how to find product and services to meet their needs. Attracting tribe members so as to move them toward their core goals.

Thanks Donna for your comments, I apologise I only just spotted it. I am using my story to build a world movement for helping others transition off their PEG tube. It will soon be available at yvonnemcclaren.com

I listened to this while driving the other day and thoroughly enjoyed hearing Yvonne’s story. What a harrowing time it’s been but her strength has been amazing. Another great interview, thanks sue and Yvonne.
