In her last post, Christine Blundell, Fashion Editor for Sizzling Towards 60 & Beyond, provided 8 tips to making packing for your vacation a breeze.
Taking an overseas vacation can be expensive and as most of us are on a budget we don’t necessarily want to buy a whole new wardrobe for our trip. In this post, I’ve asked Christine to use her styling experience and put together some ideas using my own clothes.
Creating my Cruise Clothing Capsule with My Private Stylist
We are going to take the core wardrobe garments and work a mix and match travel wardrobe for Sue for her 2 week cruise, using only 22 garments. I would also recommend adding a scarf to add extra interest and warmth if needed and a light rainproof jacket.

Core Wardrobe Pieces
We take the core Wardrobe pieces and create a mix and match wardrobe with the Building blocks.
Black Jacket can be worn over Red lace top, Animal Print and White Shirts
Black Jacket can be worn over Red dress, Coral longline Cardi can be worn over Floral dress.
Blue Kaftan top can be worn over Swimsuit
In addition to Sue’s Travel Wardrobe I would recommend a Scarf for warmth if needed and to add extra interest to her garments, also a lightweight rain jacket and of course, a hat for sun protection.
