I’m joining in the Wow On Wednesday (#wowonwednesday) link up hosted by the lovely Gail from Is this Mutton? So what happened this week that I felt was worthy of a WOW!
This is my last post for 2021 so I would love to thank you all for your support and friendship and look forward to sharing more with you in 2022!.
Sending love and best wishes to you and your families for a very Happy Festive Season and bring on 2022!
Getting in the Festive Mood with two Online Christmas Parties

Over the last week I had two Christmas Parties via Zoom. One was with my Women’s Circle which we started when COVID hit. The group has slightly changed due to life commitments so it was lovely to have the full group back for a Christmas Reunion Catch Up. We have decided to make it a Quarterly Coffee Catch Up via Zoom so looking forward to our next one in March.
It was also the Strong Healthy Women Christmas Party. As the women workout in a Virtual Studio, we have clients all over so it was lovely that they could all come together for some fun via Zoom. A couple of the ladies hosted at their homes which was extra special.
Festive Baking and Fun with my Grandsons
I love my Wednesdays as that is the day I drive up to Brisbane to spend the day with my grandsons. It is currently school holidays so we had a fun day swimming, exploring, climbing and baking gingerbread cookies. My grandsons keep me grounded and living in the moment.

Family Christmas Get-together
Traditions have changed in our house but you need to keep a positive spin on it and be flexible. Having a blended family, the weekend before Christmas was always a tradition for Mr M and I to host his parents and all our children, their partners and grandchildren for our Family Christmas get-together. Since the passing of both my parents-in-law, and a move to an apartment, our tradition needed to be tweaked. We couldn’t fit everyone in and so now we just have Mr M’s side and then spend Christmas day with my side of the family.
The What’s On Your Bookshelf? Link Party
I co-hosted our monthly What’s On Your Bookshelf? Challenge with my good friends, Deb from Deb’s World, Jo from And Anyways & Donna from Retirement Reflections. This was our fifth post and we have decided to make it a formal link party. If you love reading be sure to put the third Friday of every month at 8am Brisbane time in your calendar to join us. You can find my post HERE and it also includes links to those who joined in the fun. Pop over and see what we have all been reading.
Something that made me chuckle
I found this meme on my friend, Christine from BoomingOn’s Facebook Page.

A New Year Idea
I found this scrolling through Facebook and it reminded me that I wrote about a Gratitude Jar a few years ago. Such a lovely idea and a way to create memories.

Over to you! What had the Festive WOW Factor for you this week?
