Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!- May 30

May 31, 2024

Welcome to the Weekend Traffic Jam a weekly link up which I’m delighted to be joining as a co-host in 2024.

Each week, I’ll be joining Marsha, from Marsha in the Middle, Melynda, from Scratch Made Food for Hungry People, and Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, so please take the time to visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those who have linked!

If you would like to be a co-host come join us. It’s a great way to meet other bloggers.

This week we celebrated my youngest grandson’s birthday. Elliot is such a joy and is now 6 years old! As is my tradition I baked him a birthday cake themed from his choice. He selected Jurassic World and here is the result. I’m not a professional baker or decorator but I do bake with love. He loved his cake and was so excited when he walked in from school and saw the cake on the table.

This week, I was again on the Wednesday Words and Whimsy link up co-hosting duties with my friend, Deb from Deb’s World. We are co-hosting for two weeks whilst our friend and regular host, Min from Write of the Middle is celebrating a milestone birthday in Fiji. Doesn’t that sound a fabulous way to celebrate?

For my #WWWhimsy post I wrote about My week being an active participant in life -#WWWhimsy – May 29th. If you are a regular reader of my blog, you will know that over the last month or so, I’ve been focused on how I can be an active participant in ALL aspects of life. You can read about what it means to me HERE and I will continue to write updates and provide ideas so we can all live well and enjoy fulfilled lives.

I don’t know where May went but as today is the last Friday in the month, it is time for What’s Been On Your Calendar? a link up I co-host with three blogging friends. Deb from Deb’s World, Jo from And Anyways and Donna from Retirement Reflections. You might like to join in and share what you’ve been doing during May. So I would love you to Join me for a cuppa and a catch up – #WBOYC? May 2024 – Women Living Well After 50

I’ve linked these posts to this week’s link up so hope you enjoy reading them.

Wishing you a happy and healthy week, it’s now time for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!
