Over 50s Lifestyle Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot

Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!- February 15th

February 16, 2024

Welcome to the Weekend Traffic Jam a weekly link up which I’m delighted to be joining as a co-host in 2024.

Each week, I’ll be joining Marsha, from Marsha in the Middle, Melynda, from Scratch Made Food for Hungry People, and Lisa, from Boondock Ramblings, so please take the time to visit the other co-hosts as well as two or three of those who have linked!

If you would like to be a co-host come join us. It’s a great way to meet other bloggers.

This week my focus has been on presenting Episode 1 in Season 7 of the Women Living Well After 50 Podcast. I was into my third year of producing the podcast but had to press pause late last year due to ill health and thought about not continuing. My guest is blogger and good friend, Debbie Harris from Deb’s World and we discussed her WOTY – Thrive. The title of the Episode is ‘Are you Thriving or Just Surviving? How to Thrive in Life After 60’

It was also the week for the Tell Us About…. link up a monthly link up hosted by some lovely ladies (including me) from all over the world. Each month one of the members selects a topic/prompt and this month it is Tell Us About……Friends and Friendship This month’s prompt was suggested by the lovely Penny from Frugal Fashion Shopper and as usual I’m trying to think outside of the box with my contribution to the prompt.

I decided to think outside the box and write ‘Why Age-Gap Friendships are vital part of Ageing Well’

Wishing you a happy and healthy week, it’s now time for the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

What is the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!?

A weekly link up that goes live Thursdays at 9:30pm EDT (12:30pm Fridays Brisbane time). It is an opportunity for bloggers to share their thoughts on fashion, DIY, food, lifestyle, travel, you name it!

Oh gosh I can’t wait to listen to this episode! Then I will know what both your voices sound like. So cool that you interviewed her about her WOTY. Bernie

Hi Bernie, it is funny to hear a bloggers voice after only knowing them via the written word. Deb and I are close friends and I always enjoy chatting with her. I hope you enjoy the podcast. x

I love hearing from you and your comments are important to me
