Week 2 #JournalinginJuly Prompts

July 7, 2019
Journal Challenge Week 3

The first week of #JournalinginJuly certainly made me think and it was lovely to have some of you join in and link up on Saturday with Debbie from Deb’s World and I.

Week 2 #JournalinginJuly Prompts

Here are the prompts for the second week which I will also share in the Sizzling Towards 60 & Beyond Facebook Group each day. Remember, these are your personal thoughts and reflections so you may just want to write them for yourself. Sometimes you might just add an image if that captures your thoughts. It may only be a sentence or two, or bullet points or many pages. A journal is personal so whatever you choose will be right for you.

Day 8 – My Top 5 Favourite Books & Why

Day 9 – My Favourite Place

Day 10 – What My Favourite Day Would Be

Day 11 – What Brings Me Joy?

Day 12 – Who Inspires Me?

Day 13 – My Favourite Time of Year

Day 14 – My Best Holiday

Well there are the prompts for the coming week. Will you join me? Perhaps some prompts will spark your interest and others won’t either way I would love to hear your thoughts.

Happy Journaling!

These prompts are awesome. I look forward to reading more.

I’m glad you like them Donna and it looks like when I set the prompts for Week 2 I was thinking about the word ‘favourite’!

Love the prompts…the person who inspires me changes…right now it is my son Christopher. He’s been through some very trying times recently and I’ve watched him navigate them with humility, determination, and a pure heart.

It is a testimony also to your parenting Nancy. It is so difficult to watch our children go through hard times but your son sounds like he is coming through it all with all the qualities you have taught him xx

I’m drafting something for your Saturday link-up on my fave books… I actually had it drafted but lost my drafts when I lost some other stuff off my blog yesterday. Heavy sighs.

It is so frustrating when that happens but I’m glad you are back on track. You would be most welcome at the link up and I’d be keen to read about your favourite books. I had difficulty with that prompt!

I was actually going to blog these but my first one (what makes me special) was SOOOOO long and overthought I shelved it. I’ve saved the image on my phone though so I’m checking in each day and pondering on the prompt! (I have a 5yr diary that asks a question each day and it reminds me a little of that!)

We would love to have you join us Deb at any time!

I’m really enjoying seeing how you and Deb are handling these prompts Sue – they give me a little bit more insight into each of you (and also into myself when I apply them!) It’s a great series and I bet you’re being challenged by it!

    • Reply Sue Loncaric July 9, 2019 at 10:21

I suppose I’m finding that journaling to prompts is just like writing a blog post only shorter! I am being challenged although not sure I need any more challenges in my life at the moment. xx

Looking forward to sharing lots of favourites this week Sue! Thanks for another great monthly challenge and theme! #lifethisweek

Me too, Deb! I’m enjoying it which is a bit of a surprise but having the prompts certainly helps me get started. x

It’s so good seeing your enthusiasm for this and having others come along too. Congratulations. Great initiative.

Thank you for linking up for #lifethisweek. Next week’s optional prompt is Self-Care Sharing Your Story. I hope you will consider linking up again. Denyse.
