One of the most frequent problems bloggers have is TIME! It is not enough just to write the blog post, you then have to get it out into cyberspace and promote it through social media and other avenues like link ups and blog parties. This all takes time especially if you have to comment on other posts in linkups etc.
So how would you feel if you could reach many more readers by just pressing the Publish button and nothing more. Sounds good doesn’t it!
I am in a Facebook group of like minded bloggers and my friend, Mary Gilbert, from My Life In Progress suggested we try a new strategy to increase exposure of our blogs on twitter. It is called twitterfeed.com and it allows you to feed your posts automatically to not only your social media but to your ‘twitter circle’ as soon as they are published. The best thing is that it is free!
A ‘twitter circle’ is where you add the rss feed of other bloggers and when they publish, you automatically tweet for them and they automatically tweet when you publish.

Here is a youtube video from Michelle Schaeffer, Girl Blogger Next Door which shows you a step-by-step guide to setting up Twitter Feed. Michelle makes it so easy to follow the instructions and it takes no time to set up.
So get your ‘virtual’ blogging friends together, make a ‘twitter circle’ and watch your blog reach more readers without any extra effort.

I learned something new! This is similar to what you would do on Triberr, but automatically. Great idea!
Leslie, there is so much to learn – I’m learning something new each week but thought this was a great idea. May I link up your twitter account?
Fabulous News!
Yes it is Shandra. Perhaps we could swap info. Mine is https://www.womenlivingwellafter50.com.au/feed and @Sizzling60 I’d be happy to add you to my list if you would like to send me your details.
This seems to be working well. Thanks for alerting us to this helper.

Thanks Kathleen, I thought I would write it up and share on a couple of facebook groups I’m in. Most people think it is a great idea.
I’ve get registered at twitterfeed.com now kindly tell us about ‘twitter circle’ how to form or join twittercircle? Thanks for this useful post.
Great! Well really the twitter circle is the group of people that you will add to your twitterfeed account. You slowly build the circle with those that want to be involved.
OMG, I have to check this out! Thanks so much for the tip!
Thanks Fabiola it looks pretty good actually. Let me know if you want to link up with mine.
Love this idea makes sharing others post so much easier. Thanks for sharing!

Yes Tracey it has been working quite well. I’ve about 10 others that are on my list and everytime I publish their tweets go out! Amazing! You should try it.
I love this. With this blog, a one year old, a two year old and a new baby on the way, anything that saves me a few minutes is a win in my book. Thanks for sharing!
Oh Jessica you certainly have your hands full! I’m glad you could take something out of the post. Thanks for commenting especially as you are so busy.

The technical part of blogging is the most difficult to master! Thanks for the post!
Yes Stephanie I’ve had a good response to this post. We can always learn something new!
sounds fabulous but I don’t tweet so I’ll have to give this one a miss….
It is a great tool Leanne however there are so many ways to promote we can get bogged down. I’m limiting myself to FB, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram
Hi Sue, I created an account and see a few people have left their usernames and would love to add them but I’m not entirely sure how to. Could you advise? Thanks!
Hi Becki it isn’t that difficult. I’ll send something via email to you which may help. They are some notes I did quickly for someone else so not pretty but should help you. Have a great day.
Great advice Sue, and yes time is so scarce when we blog. We love reading your weekly posts on #wednesdayswisdom
Oh thanks Jen that is lovely of you to say. I’m happy to cohost #wednesdayswisdom with you. Have a lovely day.

Yes Sandy I can add you to my list and vice versa if you like. Same with Marilyn. It works and I like that it is free!
What an interesting idea. I’ve never heard about this before, so I’ll have to look into it a bit more. #anythinggoes
yes Alison. If you can get others on board it will really increase the reach of your tweets. Good luck
I had never heard of this, twice today you have schooled me in new things! Yeehaw! Love that. Pinned this one too. Thanks so much for sharing!
Yes it was something I picked up in a Facebook group Nikki. I thought I would write about it and it really is quite useful and successful. Everytime I publish a post it is tweeted through all the people who are on my list – amazing! I’m sure there are lots more things like this out there we just need to find them LOL:)
Never heard of this but it sounds amazing! It is so time consuming trying to promote posts so this will come in handy 🙂
Gemma xx
Yes it works for me Gemma. I hadn’t heard of it until someone in a FB group I belong to mentioned it. Thanks for stopping by to comment.

I need to try this! Although I have to admit, I’m not very good at Twitter, I just don’t get it! I’m trying, but I seem to be much better at facebook! Great post, thank you for sharing! X
Jodie, I’ve had good response with it and it is so easy to use. I’m just learning it all myself so share when I find something that might help other newbies. Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely weekend.
I have to try this! I suck at promoting my blog on twitter, I just can’t get it out there! This looks super easy to use! Thank you for the tip!
It is easy Anna and I know I find it difficult to get the work out there so this helps widen your reach. Glad you enjoyed the post.
There is so much to learn when it comes to blogging, and social media and getting noticed. I signed up with twitter feed and have things set up and some of my other favorite bloggers as well is set up in my feed, but I didn’t know anything about a twitter circles. I will have to look into that I could use all the help I can get. Thanks!
I know what you mean Linda. I started the blog in February as a ‘hobby’ and there is so much to learn and do it can become overwhelming. I’m trying to find some balance so any help and tips on working smarter not harder in blogging is certainly appreciated.
