The Clean Eating Overhaul Challenge – February

January 28, 2025

Join us in the Women Living Well After 50 Daily Exercise Challenge Facebook Group for the Clean Eating Overhaul Challenge in February.

Together, we’ll focus on cutting out ultra-processed foods and embracing whole, nourishing alternatives. Ultra-processed foods—like chips, sugary snacks, frozen meals, and sodas—are often packed with unhealthy additives, excess sugar, and unhealthy fats. Over time, they can take a toll on our energy, digestion, and overall health.

Why This Challenge Matters:

Reducing ultra-processed foods can:

  • Boost your energy levels.
  • Improve digestion and gut health.
  • Reduce inflammation in the body.
  • Support weight management.
  • Encourage a closer connection to your meals and mindful eating.

How will it work?

Each Monday, throughout February, I will post a video or post with theme for the weekly challenge providing learning and ways to implement clean eating into our lifestyle. There will be resources and recipes to help you.

You may already know most of the information but it is always a good reminder to refresh our knowledge and to encourage us to get back on track if our healthy habits have started falling away.

Please note: I am not a dietitian or medical practitioner so am not qualified to provide specific diet plans. However, I can provide useful information as a guide.

Week 1: Awareness & Pantry Check

Week 2: Swap It Out

Week 3: Focus on Whole Meals

Week 4: Reflect & Refine

Bonus Challenge

Are you ready to take on the challenge and enjoy the benefits of ditching ultra-processed foods? Let’s do this together—one wholesome bite at a time!

Join us here at The Clean Eating Overhaul Challenge as we ditch the ultra processed foods and reap the rewards of healthy eating.

I may not participate, but I look forward to your posts. We don’t eat a lot of processed foods anyway because they’re usually high in calories and unhealthy fats. I try to look for items with the least ingredients and names I can pronounce!

Hi Marsha, honestly, I think most in the group know what to do but we thought a challenge might just tweak a few things and be a good reminder to get back on track after the festive season. x
