Hello Sizzlers!

Welcome to another edition of ‘The Sizzling Towards Sixty Update’.  I’ve been away for the last week spending quality time with my husband at the beach.  The weather for the first half was not brilliant, however that didn’t matter to us, and I even managed to catch up on reading a couple of novels.  The Colour of Tea by Hannah Tunnicliffe which was a charming book set in Macau and The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins which was a thriller (loosely termed).

Whilst on the Coast, I ran in a fun run called The Colour Run – The Happiest 5k on the Planet.  You can read about my experience in this edition and how I think everyone should do a Colour Run.

I managed to do some writing and am starting a couple of different projects.  One will be based on a Health and Fitness challenge and the other is a series of articles on Planning for Retirement.
In this issue:-

  • The Happiest 5K on the Planet
  • Healthy Bones Action Week 3 – 9 August
  • Walking Your Way to Fitness – Intermediate Level

That is all my news so go and make yourself a ‘cuppa’ and enjoy reading some of my latest posts.

Oh I love reading too Joanne but when do we find the time with blogging!!! These two were easy to read but I think you would definitely enjoy The Colour of Tea. It is about a girl who opens a café in Macau and makes macarons.
