October is Menopause Awareness Month and the 18th was World Menopause Day. Although I’m taking a short break from making Podcast episodes, over the course of the 3 seasons, I interviewed some wonderful women to discuss Menopause and Midlife.
During October, I’ll be reposting the interviews for you to listen to. Even if you have listened before, the information these women have to share is a wonderful reminder that we can get through this phase of life stronger and be more vital with a zest for living.
In Episode 1 of Season 5 on the Women Living Well Podcast, I’m me the delightful to Tania Dalton, Founder of Beautiful Midlife.
Post menopause can be difficult to navigate and can be overwhelming. Our bodies are changing, we certainly aren’t 20 any more and health challenges can develop if we aren’t looking after ourselves. It can also challenge our self-confidence and many women feel they lack the confidence within themselves to live the life they want.
During the interview we discussed:
- Improving the way we view ourselves and our bodies
- Building self confidence
- Post menopause health and lifestyle changes we may need to make.
- The importance of moving daily
- Keeping social connections
- Tania’s MELT approach
- Being an advocate for your health

Hi, Sue and Tania – Thank you for this excellent information and the reminder that we need to remain positive and vigilant advocates for our health and not let fear, embarassment or perceived social stigmas get in the way of our advocacy. Great podcast!
Hi Donna, I thought a replay of the podcasts relevant to Menopause was in order for Menopause Awareness Month. I really enjoyed chatting to Tania. xx
I am so glad menopause is far, far behind me. I was fairly lucky with how mine went. I’m so glad it’s being talked about more and more now, though.
