Hormones, Alleviating the confusion

Hormones, Alleviating the confusionLast week I was excited to bring you a new series of Guest Posts from Dr Catherine Hansen on the subject of Menopause.

It appears that we are all trying to find ways to cope with this phase of our lives in the best way possible.  Some of us find it easier than others.

This week I’m bringing you Part 2 in the 5 Week Series on Menopause by Dr Catherine Hansen. Dr Hansen, who specializes in Women’s Health, in particular peri and post-menopausal women, says: “My approach to Health Care promotes personal happiness by targeting the root cause of medical issues.”

The feedback on Part 1 was wonderful and shows how important this subject is.

Menopause Series Part 2

In Part 1 of this series, Dr Hansen answered the question many of us have asked : “What is happening to me?”

In Part 2 this week, Dr Hansen addresses the issue of hormones and the confusion surrounding the types of treatment available.  It is all about being well informed and knowing that not all treatments suit everyone.  We are all individuals with individual symptoms and concerns.  This week Dr Hansen provides us with information to help us make more informed decisions.

Sue, you hit it on the head…not everything is for everyone, and there are options. I hope by the time that I am in menopause, there are even more safe and effective options. Maybe when pharma gets off of the pink pill, it can work on more practical and necessary things. Wouldn’t that be nice? LOL! Thanks for sharing, Sue, and being one of the Hostesses with the mostess of #OverTheMoon!

I’ve been very lucky Regina and never really suffered too much with symptoms of menopause.
