#MakingMarchMeaningful is coming to Sizzling Towards 60 & Beyond!
February was all about #FitFabFeb2019 and I do hope that you found some inspiration and motivation to keep moving forward with the goals you set.
My philosophy is about a holistic lifestyle change, not a quick fix. When I say Holistic I am referring to all areas of our lives – physically, mentally, spiritually and relationships. In Week 4 of #FitFabFeb2019 it was time to Review, Reassess and Reset. Taking the time to review and reassess our goals and progress to determine if they are still relevant is important, especially if we have allowed life to take over. We can always press the Reset button as change is a continual process.
What is Making March Meaningful?
#FitFabFeb2019 was about keeping the focus on areas of mind, body and soul in your own way to improve your lifestyle, health and happiness.
#MakingMarchMeaningful continues with lifestyle changes but with the emphasis on looking at ways to bring meaning to our lives. It will also be learning and improving ways to be more mindful and appreciating the small things in life.
It is about seriously making gratitude part of our day and not just giving it ‘lip service’.
It is about ways we can keep evolving, learning and growing and making each day count.
Perhaps you have had some major changes in your life and not sure what to do now? #MakingMarchMeaningful will help you define what you want and provide strategies to achieve that new chapter in your life.
I recently read a great post by Christie Hawkes, ‘The Painful Beauty of Impermanence’ and it resonated with me that even thought we say ‘live each moment’ we don’t necessarily live that way.
What if we treated each encounter with another living being as if it would be our last contact?
What if we looked at the beauty of each sunrise or sunset as if it would be our final glimpse?
What if we savored each bite of food as if it would be the final taste?
Would we be more present in the moment?
Would we give each of our senses the proper attention?
#MakingMarchMeaningful is about taking time to review where you are now, and if the life you are living is the life which brings you happiness and contentment.
It’s about recognizing that simple things can bring meaning to life and that sometimes we can be looking for more rather than actually seeing and appeciating what we have.
I believe that because we are individuals we can’t all follow the same plan. We need to find what works for us in creating a life that fulfills our needs and desires .
#MakingMarchMeaningful is about living your authentic life not the life others want you to live.
