It’s Time for Active April – Action for Happiness

March 31, 2023

How do you stay active? We know that our bodies and minds need movement and activity to stay healthy and strong especially as we age.

It’s Time for Active April!

The month, the Action For Happiness theme is Active April. I’ve attached the calendar and there are some fun suggestions for being Active during the month. Of course, we should be active as part of a healthy lifestyle and it is never too late to start.

Here is the link to the pdf version if you want to print the calendar: PowerPoint Presentation (actionforhappiness.org)

Starting tomorrow 1st April the prompt is:

Commit to being more active this month starting today

Will you make the commitment? Share your thoughts with me in the comments.

Great minds think alike, Sue. I have just finished making myself an Active April workout plan. The one that you shared here is perfect. I will definitely be using that one too. Thank you for posting it!

Hi Donna, I love the calendars and yes I’m thinking of how I can be Active during April. It is a good reminder. x

Sue, I always think of April as a time for Spring Cleaning, and what better way to start than with getting back on track with healthy habits.

Spring is certainly a good time for renewal isn’t it, Suzanne? There is such a feeling of change and hope during this season and that extends into our daily lives and habits. Enjoy your Spring, it is Autumn here and Mother Nature is finally getting the message to cool down.xx

Sadly, I am still on the injury list, but I am looking forward to perhaps managing a real walk on the weekend. I’m just waiting for the snow to melt enough that I feel safe with my footing – can’t imagine falling on my ribs.

Oh Bernie, I’m sorry to hear about your injury but patience and time will see you back before you know it. Take care xx

It’s not a speedy comeback that’s for sure. And time is ticking towards our europe adventure. UGH.

Yes, I do hope my ribs don’t make biking super painful, but only time will tell.
