Homyped ‘Murlena’ – Review Combining Casual Style and Comfort

December 2, 2016
Homyped Murlena

I recently reviewed the ‘Jirany’ sandal in the Homyped Spring/Summer 16 Collection.  I loved this sandal and enjoy wearing them in sunny weather as they really brighten up any outfit. If you missed the post just CLICK HERE to find out why I think they are fabulous.

These days, my lifestyle is more casual than corporate wear.  Living in Queensland, the lifestyle is relaxed and I find my wardrobe consists mainly of smart casual clothing that can take me from brunch to shopping or enjoying a relaxing lunch or dinner by the BBQ.

Finding a shoe that fits this criterion and still looks good is not always easy.  So I was pleasantly surprised when I found the Murlena style in the Homyped ‘Natural Balance’ range.

Running and keeping fit with personal training sessions are ways I can relax and keep healthy.  However, my poor feet can get a bashing with long runs as part of my training program.  I need something that will keep my feet ‘pampered’ when they aren’t taking me around the running tracks of Brisbane.

My husband and I also love travelling and I need a shoe that will let me explore all day without blisters or tired feet.

The Murlena fits the bill perfectly.

The Murlena has a sporty, casual look with a zip front. This is a great idea because they are easy to remove without worrying about shoelaces.

I selected the Murlena Silver colour which has a grey/silver trim. When I tried them on, my feet sighed with pleasure! The inner support makes these shoes easy to walk in and wear all day plus the colour trims looks stylish.

They feel very light weight and don’t feel heavy like some joggers and other casual shoes do.

As I mentioned above, I love travelling and the feature of being Airport Scanner friendly is a great option. They are easy to carry in your luggage as well.

It is also available in Black and Midnight.

What is so different about Homyped?

Homyped shoes have customised fitting which allows for orthotic inserts.  The range is also  multi-adjustable and provides pressure reduction plus other features include providing balance and stability, engineered grip and customised protection.

The brand started in Melbourne, in 1969 and has evolved and adapted to changing markets. After not wearing the brand for a number of years I am definitely a fan again.  Comfort, support and style are all provided by the Homyped range and I’m heading back to the online shop to see what other beauties I can buy for Spring/Summer 2016.

Purchasing online is easy with Homyped’s Fitting Chart which you can download and print to check your right size and width.

Check out the full range at Homyped’s website:  https://www.homyped.com.au/

If you are looking for a smart casual style and comfort in shoes, the Murlena is definitely worth checking out.

Hi Jodie, I’m not sure if they ship overseas so that is why you probably haven’t heard of them. They are so comfortable though and way more stylish than they used to be. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

They are comfortable Kathleen and I like that they have updated their look so I don’t feel like an older lady when I wear them. LOL:)
