For a number of months this year, I have focused on a theme. There was Fit Fab Feb, Making March Meaningful, Active April, Microstepping in May, Junk Free in June, Journaling in July, Ageing Well in August and Self Care in September.
This week, I came across this challenge from Dani Di Pirro from Positively Present . It’s The Gratitude Challenge for 2019. The challenge is now in it’s 9th year and I love Dani’s positive outlook on life which is inspiring and motivating.
Whilst I’ve decided not to pursue a monthly theme on the blog for the moment, I do love a challenge and what could be better than putting the focus on Gratitude. So I suppose November will be Gratitude month!
Each day I’ll be positing an image to Instagram and sharing on my Facebook page and in the Sizzling Towards 60 & Beyond Group. I would love you to join in, even if it isn’t daily, and use the hashtags #gratitude30 and #ageingwelllivingwellwithsue. You can also tag me in Instagram so I can see your images.
Not on Instagram? No problem just share to the daily thread in the Facebook Group.
Positively Present’s Gratitude Challenge 2019

Even though it is a challenge it As Dani Di Piro from Positively Present explains in her post:
The goal of the Challenge is to focus on (and share if you want!) something (a photo, illustration, quote, etc.) every day, using the prompts to help you feel more appreciative. Feel free to get creative, make up your own prompts, etc. And don’t feel pressured to attain perfection, either. Thankfulness is what it’s all about; no need to be a professional photographer or artist, or to even keep up every single day!
You can find more details and how it works by clicking HERE
I hope that you will join me for The Gratitude Challenge and look forward to seeing your images.
I would love you to share this and encourage as many as we can to focus on Gratitude daily.

Hi Sue, I love this ! A month of focusing on gratitude in different areas of our life to make us so much more aware of all the blessings we have but usually take for granted and tend to focus instead on our problems, Our focus goes where our energy flows, so this whole month could be life changing! I will definitely be joining in. Thank you for this opportunity. Chris x
Actually that statement above should read – energy flows where our focus goes. Chris x
Thanks Chris, I’m not sure if I can keep up daily but the prompts are always helpful. Hope you will join in when you can. xx
I will try to do a few, maybe not on the right days…both you and Denyse will keep me Insta-busy this month! #Lovinglifelinky
Hi Lydia, I’m not sure if I can manage everyday but I’ll definitely be trying to. You are busy this month! x
Hi, Sue – What a wonderful focus! I look forward to following. I hope that you’ll include some of this challenge on your blog as well.
Hi Donna, yes I’m hoping to either do a weekly round up or specific posts. I don’t want added pressure but Gratitude is something that should be celebrated rather than a chore. Have a lovely week my friend. xx
Yes Sue, this is awesome ! I’m not on Instagram or Groups much. Not enough time! But love getting notified of great blog posts from various sites. Thanks for sharing & have a greatful & blessed November !

Hi Lorraine, happy belated birthday. I’ve followed you on Insta and pleased to have you as part of the group on Facebook. xx
Such a lovely idea Sue. I have been planning on doing something on gratitude myself to get me back into the habit! Normally I’d jump in on this from the get go but I’ll have to play it by ear unfortunately as my health is still far from good. But if I get a chance and post a gratitude photo I’ll join in with the hashtags etc. xo
Hi Min, I loved the idea when I saw it on Instagram. You need to take care of yourself but if inspiration arises I’d love you to join in when you can. xx
A lovely idea…I look forward to following and maybe even joining in…
It is a lovely idea Jo and I hope you can join in when you can. I might not be able to keep up daily but the prompts help. Enjoy your weekend. xx
A really positive and upbeat theme Sue – and not too much work for you (good girl!) I’ll definitely be joining in when and where I can over the month ahead. I’m a big fan of gratitude and appreciation because we need to see how truly blessed we are every day xx
It is, isn’t it, BBB? I like the flexibility and don’t want to pressure myself so will post when I can. xx
Hi Sue, I look forward to following. I like the doable, positive, no pressure description. xx
I like the no pressure description as well Erica. Hope you enjoy following along. xx
This is a great idea, Sue. I look forward to participating, and I will share on social media. It should be fun and gratitude-inspiring to see everyone’s photos. I can hardly believe we are talking about November, but it’s here!
Looking forward to your posts, Christie. Time is flying and someone mentioned Christmas the other day yikes! xx
Great idea Sue, and should be relatively easy for most of us. I’ll # my Instagram photos and check out your daily posts.
Great! Look forward to your posts. xx
Sue, I’ll probably use this list as part of my morning journaling as a prompt for that day. Not sure I will blog about it, but I am sure I will enjoy the prompts every morning!
Hi Pat, I find it helpful when I come across new ideas and I like the idea of having prompts to get me to focus. Have a lovely day and good luck with your impending move. xx
Gratitude is the secret to happiness for sure. I end each day reflecting on the day and the stuff I”m grateful for. There’s always something to love about life. Even in the tough times,
Challenges like this are fun and well… challenging! I have been pretty busy with the book and school stuff! One blog post a week and barely an IG post per week these days. I am glad you are enjoying blogging again, Sue and have fun with this challenge! We can all use more gratitude in our lives!
