Last year I came up with the idea of Fit Fab Feb to focus on areas of mind, body and soul to improve your lifestyle, health and happiness.
We have moved past the New Year resolutions (or in my case, haven’t made any), we have navigated the many offers for a New Year, New You, we may or may not have chosen a word or words to focus on for 2020 and we are at the end of January – phew!
Now that the dust has settled I think February is a good time to look at ways of keeping Fit & Fabulous and incorporating some self-love – February is the month that has Valentine’s day after all. Why not show yourself some love and give yourself a FREE Valentine’s gift – your health and well-being?
Are you ready to make some lifestyle changes to be healthier and happier? If yes, then join me for #FITFABFEB2020
What is Fit Fab Feb 2020?
Relax! It isn’t a challenge – unless you want it to be. I will however, be challenging you to incorporate change and the way you view your health and well-being
Fit Fab Feb is at your pace. You take what you want and what is right for you and leave the rest. I’ve written before that we are all individuals with different needs and we all work in different ways. I love to run but appreciate that many of you prefer to keep active in other ways.
Fit Fab Feb is about making lifestyle changes for the long term and taking ‘baby steps’ to achieve a long term healthy lifestyle plan. No gimmicks or quick fixes.
It’s about creating Mini Habits which I’ve learned about since reading the book Mini Habits: Smaller Habits, Bigger Results by Stephen Guise. I’ve also recently written about Micro Steps in my blog post – Time to Hit the Start Button and Take Action as part of the Make It Happen 2020 Challenge.
If you want something badly enough, you will commit and Commitment is the Key to achieving your goals.
Remember you are unique and what works for some might not work for you and vice versa!
How will Fit Fab Feb work?
No, I’m not going to bombard you with daily emails and videos (although there may be a video here and there). I will post a daily tip to Instagram and the Sizzling Towards 60 & Beyond – Let’s Thrive Facebook page. Plus I’ll be writing posts on the blog for those of you who aren’t into social media.
I would love you to use the hashtag #FitFabFeb2020 and either post to Instagram or the Facebook thread with how you have been keeping Fit & Fabulous.
Sunday will be our Unplug & Reconnect with life day…
Here are the links to follow or join me if you aren’t already a member and we can support and encourage each other.
Sizzling Towards 60 & Beyond – Let’s Thrive Facebook Group
Friday mornings (Brisbane time)
I will be publishing a weekly post with tips and inspiration to start your week and to help you as you work towards a Fit & Fabulous You! This also ties in well with the Make It Happen 2020 Challenge because I believe that our health and well-being is an important key to achieving our goals.
I want #FITFABFEB2020 to be relevant for us all so if you have a specific health & wellness question or topic you would like covered? Drop me an email sue@womenlivingwellafter50.com.au
I will be doing regular Facebook Live Check ins to see how you are going and if there is any help or support you need. Don’t forget to join the group for the discussion. If you can’t make the live discussion you can catch up later.
Sunday mornings (Brisbane time)
I will be continuing my Ageing Well, Living Well theme with guests sharing their thoughts and ideas.
If you would like to keep up with my posts on a weekly basis, then subscribing to my Sunday evening Newsletter might be a good option for you.
The Official start date will be 3rd February but on Friday 1st February we will start planning so we are off and running (not literally) on Monday. A new week!
