What a great idea Sue – something for everyone as Christmas approaches. I can’t wait until it’s time to put up the fairy lights and start wrapping the presents I haven’t bought yet!

Thanks Leanne I love Christmas although this year half the family will be away so it won’t be quite the same.

Hi Leanne hope you find something you like. The little mini pudding truffles are my favourite.

This is just what I need for this time of year. Although I’m only having a small gathering to my house this Christmas, with my daughter being in Canada on a ski holiday. I always enjoy selecting some new decorations to make my house look festive and also put some table decorations on the table for lunch. As for gifts, I don’t have too many to buy for as we culled giving gifts to our entire extended family, which is ever-growing, years ago. Thanks for this, it will be very handy.

    • Reply Sue Loncaric November 17, 2016 at 14:35

Oh how lovely for your daughter Kathy – a white Christmas. Half our family will be away so it won’t be quite the same but I do love walking through the shopping centres listening to the music and looking at all the festivities and decorations.

A great idea Sue and I’m off to check them out as I’m hosting my first ever Christmas this year! I’m a bit bah-humbug about this time of year so perhaps it’ll incite some enthusiasm.

    • Reply Sue Loncaric November 17, 2016 at 14:36

I hope you find something Deborah and I’m sure once you get into it all that enthusiasm spark will come alive. Have a great time organising – that’s my favourite part.

My absolute, without contest favorite time of the year!! Christmas! I can’t wait to start getting ready, but it still seems a bit early to start decorating – but you can bet that I’m the nerd in the corner collecting all manner of Christmas DIY ideas and recipes until the time is right to start decorating – only a short while to go… Will definitely have a look at your collection, thanks for sharing. #CandidCuddles

    • Reply Sue Loncaric November 24, 2016 at 10:13

My too Leri! I suppose if you live in the US you have to get past Thanksgiving before you can start thinking about Christmas. In Australia, the decorations have been out for a month!

Sue, I love gift idea posts any time of year. I’m going to email this post to myself (my way of “saving” posts!). And my freezer is my best friend an time of year for those unexpected guest situations.

    • Reply Sue Loncaric December 5, 2016 at 06:38

Oh I love them too Jean and there are so many ideas to choose from. Great idea to mail a reminder I must do that in the future. Where would we be without freezers – it just takes the stress out of last minute preparations and also as you say you have something on hand for unexpected guests. Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful day. x
