Empty nest, career change, retirement – major life changes where we may feel unsure of our direction or purpose. My guest in Conversation is Jan Fishler, author and speaker who decided to just go for it. Her talks and writing courses inspire and motivate mostly midlife women (and a few men) to manifest their dreams and fulfill their heart’s desire because most need a friendly nudge to accomplish their goals.
Jan provides the tools they need to Just Write It! or Just do It!
During the conversation we discussed:
- Life after the empty nest
- Motivating women to make the most of what Mary Oliver calls “this one wild and precious life.”
- Writing ‘Don’t Stop Now – Making the Most of the Rest of Your Life with co-author Elle Gianforte
- The importance of writing your memoir
Jan was such a delightful guest. Warm, funny and inspirational is how I would describe her and I’ll definitely be asking her back for another conversation.
Jan’s overarching message is:
Dream big. Do what you love. Have fun! In other words, it’s time to dance like nobody is watching because they aren’t–they’re too busy looking at their phone!
