Meet Barb Hawken

Barb hawken

Barb Hawken is the go-to menopause fitness coach who believes that when it comes to transforming the middle aged woman’s body, making simple tweaks in the kitchen and gym can cause their health to improve, and their confidence to soar! Barb works with high achieving career-minded women, helping them lose weight in menopause. Her unique, results-driven, custom program
enables them to say goodbye to the weight gain, muscle loss and energy drain that can accompany this season of change.

As an AFPA Functional Sports Trainer, mother of 4 boys, and a menopausal woman who struggles with hypothyroidism, Barb believes that aging is a choice. When the media tells women what they can and can’t do at a certain age, Barb is there telling them that they can be the most radiant version of themselves during this chapter of their lives.

Barb has been working out since she was 17 years old and studying nutrition for the past 35 years. But it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. she’s gained and lost 40 pounds 4 times in 7 years – hello, motherhood. She put my own health and wellness on the back-burner for a decade while taking care of her children. She felt confused, lonely, and unprepared for how her body was changing.

Barb wants women going through similar menopausal journeys to know that they are not alone! Her passion is teaching women what they need to know to help them get their body to a place where they feel strong, sexy, and radiant.
