Thanks Marilyn for your feedback I hope you enjoy the blog page. It is in its infancy but hopefully it will grow and improve. That’s what life is all about. Take care Sue
My name is Darlene Garces and I’m a Blog Outreach specialist at qualityguestposts.com.
I saw your blog and decided to get in touch, because I think that a lot of our clients will be interested in regular article placements, either paid guest posts (we provide an article) or sponsored content (you/your team write it for us).
This could potentially bring some good regular income for you or you business.
Would you be interested?
P.S.: If you don’t want me to get in touch again, please let me know.
I’m getting in touch today because I’d love to contribute an article to DOMAIN. Let me explain. According to the EPA, all types of mold have the potential to cause ill health. While working as a pediatric receptionist, I regularly saw children who were brought in frequently and complained about the same seemingly innocuous symptoms. They all had one thing in common: they lived in the same area which was flooded after a storm, and were living in properties with serious mold infestation.
Did you know that having proper ventilation in your home is one of the easiest ways to prevent mold growth? Doing something as simple as this could help to prevent common mold infestation-related health issues such as allergies, asthma, chronic coughing, and skin irritation.
I’d love to contribute a full article on this topic because your readers will be certain to find these tips and hacks both intriguing and useful. I would be happy to do so pro bono, I’d just ask that I include a reference to a previous piece I worked on.
Please let me know what you think, I’d be happy to get started right away.
(I tried to contact you through your contact page but it kept asking for login details, and I can’t seem to find out how to log in or join, so I thought I send my message to you here…hope that is ok)
After trawling the internet for ages about “Blogs” I found you!
And you defo don’t look 60!
Do you think you could give me a little advice??
I am not a blogger – yet – I don’t really know exactly what it is but after all the “trawling” it seemed to me that a lot of blogs are “how to do” things.
So I am not sure that I would really “fit in” with that.
I have been writing for years and years (I am 60)….I have stacks of writings…. mostly humorous and wry takes on life….and I want to use them – hence I thought of blogging, but do people really just want to read stuff that other people write, or is it all about how to “better yourself” or how to “do crochet”?….
In a nutshell I have problems – I became ill in mid to late 40’s, couldn’t work, divorced, had two children to raise by myself, and now at 60 I am still unable to work and the UK Government says I only need £280 a month to live on – yes, you saw that right – £280 a month! Ha! And that is just the tip of the ice-burg.
Hence I would really like to make enough money to actually live on by writing – or rather using all the writings that I have – and I thought blogging would be a good way to do it….but how the heck does it work? How do you get money from it??
I am not very computer literate, and I am defo NOT a business personage…so trying to navigate my way into making a blog/website and finding advertisers or sponsors or what ever you do to generate money is alien to me, but I would darn well give it a go and try and figure out how to do it.
Is there any way you could possibly give me a brief explanation of how it works and what the heck I do to make it work in order to actually make some money??
And by the way, if you’d like to read a couple of things that I’ve written just let me know….it would be good to have your opinion as to whether you think they are any good….may be they are a load of old rubbish!
Hello Jenny, thank you for reaching out. Starting a blog is not difficult but it does depend on what you want from the blog. Making money takes a very long time to happen and I actually don’t make any money from my blog or social media. I think you need to understand why you want to start a blog and who you want your blog to reach. Blogs can be your personal thoughts or provide a service to others. I don’t want to discourage you but rather give you the reality that most blogs make very little money. I’d be happy to read some of your work. Best of luck.
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Daryll, and I represent 3rdstory.com.au. First and foremost, I wanted to express our gratitude for being one of our valued customers. We’ve noticed that not only do you have a passion for our products, but you also have an incredible platform at “Women Living Well After 50” where you share valuable insights and experiences.
Given our shared audience of empowered women, I believe there’s a wonderful opportunity for us to collaborate. Our products at 3rdstory.com.au are designed with quality and authenticity in mind, values that I see reflected in the content you share with your readers.
Would you be open to exploring some collaboration opportunities? This could range from featuring some of our products in your content, guest posts, or even joint promotions. We believe that by working together, we can provide even more value to your audience and ours.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this and any other ideas you might have. Looking forward to connecting with you.
