Being resilient and strong when life doesn’t go to plan

October 25, 2020
resilience and strength

In my last post I talked about taking a mini retreat with my husband and getting away for a break. However, life doesn’t always go to plan and last Sunday, instead of going away we were called to the hospital as my Mother-In-Law had had a massive stroke.

I’ve posted this video in my Facebook Group as an update and wanted to share with you so that you know what is happening and why I may not be posting regularly.

Make the most of every day, spend time with loved ones when you can because you never know what till happen.

Oh Sue, my heart goes out to you and your family. My mother-in-law is in her final weeks with lung cancer so I know how it can be a roller-coaster ride. We went through it when my parents were dying too. You are so right, treasure every moment with them because we never know what’s around the corner. Take care, Christina

Hi Christina it is difficult seeing loved ones ill and with no hope of recovery. Please take care of yourself as well and my love and prayers go to you and your husband at this difficult time. xx

Your quote is spot on. We should never put off making the most of every day. Today is also the perfect day is to tell loved ones how special they are to us.
