Being An Active Participant in Life – Let’s Go!

It’s April 1st and no, we aren’t April Fools! We are taking action to Be Active Participants in Life!

A new month with new beginnings although we can start making changes in life any day and any time. The important thing is to start living well and enjoying life and sometimes that means we need to form new habits and make some changes.

Change can be difficult but it is usually FEAR of CHANGE that is holding us back. We get used to our comfort zones and just want to stay put rather than making the most of every day.

In my last post, Being an Active Participant in Life – Active April, I outlined what I wanted the challenge to look like. What it will mean for us to become active participants in life.

Now it’s time to start!

Being an Active Participant in Life – Let’s Go!

DAY 1 – Commit & Plan

Before you can achieve anything, you need to commit and plan. So on Day 1 it is all about planning your month and beyond. Thinking about what you want to achieve to Live Well and Enjoy Life as an Active Participant. It’s about making a commitment to yourself to make the most of this one precious life we have.

Today, take the calendar (you can download one that I made for April HERE) plan your month.

Are there any special events for the month?

How will you move your body each day?

Make a list of things you would like to do during the month that will help you to participate in life.

What is something you have always wanted to do? Put that on the list.

Without a plan to help you get started it is easy to procrastinate and put it off until tomorrow or the next day or the next day or it never happens.

In my weekly blog post each Sunday I will list what I’ve done as well and hopefully you will leave a comment and check-in with what you’ve done. You can also post to your socials and use the hashtag #imanactiveparticipantinlife

By communicating with each other we can encourage each other and also share our ideas on Living Well and Enjoying Life.

So let’s start Day 1 – Commit & Plan and some form of physical activity to get your body working. Write what you’ve done on the calendar and tick it off!

    This is great Sue. I’m trying to be active every day and think it’s something we all need to attempt – and as you say in the podcast it doesn’t have to be exercise it could be getting our mind active in different ways. Thanks for the inspiration!
