Last month I introduced my blogging friend, Carol Cassara from A Healing Spirit. Carol wrote as a guest writer for my August theme – 31 days to Celebrate Life Now! Her poignant post about How in the ‘face of death’ she learned to Celebrate Life was personal and touching and certainly brought home the message of not taking life for granted.
It has been an exciting time for Carol who recently started her new business and website ‘A Healing Spirit’. Carol provides services, inspiration and products to assist those who are experiencing grief and loss or illness such as cancer or chronic pain.
Today I wanted to share my thoughts on the Healing Gift Package (large size). I purchased a package from Carol who kindly sent it out to Australia. I loved it so much that I ordered another for a friend who has recently had surgery for cancer and is in recovery mode – both mentally and physically.
When my friend received my ‘surprise’, she contacted me and told me what a lovely and thoughtful gift it was. She could see that the contents of the pack would be useful tools in her recovery and she said it gave her ‘quite a lift’ to receive it in the mail.
My friend also said she would be using the journal as a ‘place of reconciliation of what has happened to me’.
So what does the pack contain?
As I mentioned I purchased the ‘You’ve Got This!’ Healing Gift Package (large size) and there is also a regular sized option.
In my package I received:
- A guided journal for Healing – written by Carol.
- 50 healing affirmation cards presented in a gorgeous pink organza bag
- A cute pink heart tea light candle
- A deluxe brand emollient lip balm
- A pink quartz healing stone
- Sticker & gift card
What is the purpose?
The journal is designed for those who are trying to cope with illnesses such as cancer or chronic pain. It is a way to record your thoughts and feelings on a daily basis and is designed to be a support tool in your healing.
The healing affirmation cards are a business card size so very portable and durable. Take them with you wherever you go and focus on the affirmation and the healing power it brings.
A similar package is also available for those dealing with Grief. Items can also be purchased separately.
Although I’m not affiliated or receiving any payment for this review, I would encourage you to explore Carol’s website – A Healing Spirit. Why not subscribe for latest information on healing and loss and receive a free copy of ‘How to Survive a Loss of any Kind’?
If you know someone who is suffering from illness or grief, the gift packages are a perfect way to show them that you care and support them.
I have placed an image with a link to A Healing Spirit in my sidebar for you to explore. Shipping in the US is free and Carol also offers discounted shipping to Australia and Canada.
Are you or someone you know going through difficult times? Why not take the time to read more about A Healing Spirit today.

What a great idea and such a practical (and thoughtful) gift. So often we settle for something tokenistic when we want to comfort someone or cheer them up, but these are great! #teamlovinlife

As the fortunate recipient of this thoughtful gift from you, I can say that it was a delight to receive and as I write I am looking at the little pink candle and crystal which accompanied to book and the cards. I used the lip gloss recently (one lip only!) when I visited my dad. You have reminded me that I need to do an update in the journal. I love the little bag the cards came in and I dip into it, draw out a card and write/draw something related to that. It is indeed, for someone who enjoys creative pursuits, a great idea as a gift! Thank you once again. Denyse xx
I’m just so happy that you found some joy in receiving my gift Denyse. I love the lip gloss and I’m sure Carol would be so pleased you are using the resources such as the cards to help you in your creative pursuits. xx
