Is it time to take a Break from Routine ? In my post Back to Routine – Does it have to be? I wrote about how being in our comfort zone is good sometimes but breaking out of routine can also help us to achieve our full potential.
5 Quotes to help you take a Break from Routine
Sometimes it takes courage to take a break from routine and step out of our comfort zone. However, when you do rise to the challenge the feeling of power and freedom at your success will inspire you and others. Be Brave and try something new.
Life can get so hectic with work, family and friendship commitments. Taking a break to have some fun and enjoy doing something YOU enjoy makes you a better person for YOU and your family and friends. Go have some fun today!
I love this quote. I’ve been trying to make a concerted effort unplug from Social Media and Emails. Instead of technology having control of me I’m taking back control. It can be scary but when you switch off for at least a day you feel a weight lifted. Rediscover life and all the things it has to offer – away from the screen.
We don’t usually dwell on the subject of our longevity. However, this is a question we should ask ourselves, particularly when we are feeling fed up with life or feeling sorry for ourselves. Living for the day and moment is so important especially as we age. Time is limited and we never know when that time is up. So enjoy every moment and give thanks for each day.
It is so easy to get caught up with our ‘diary of life’. Scheduling appointments, fitting in work schedules and family schedules. Where is the quality time? Scheduling in exercise, time with family and friends and time for YOU is so important. So don’t forget what your priorities are at the end of the day – YOU, your family, your health, happiness and your friendships.

Yes I love that one too Ifeoma! We need to look at what is important in our lives rather than always being bogged down with the need for financial security. Have a beautiful day.
It’s Saturday morning and I’m catching up on some blog reading and thinking about the day ahead, cleaning, errands, meal planning, etc., but what I’m really craving is to get away for the day on an adventure. Sometimes I just don’t give myself permission to do this. Working full-time, I feel that if I don’t get all the “stuff” done on the weekend, the week ahead falls apart. It seems we are living to work. I think I’m going to listen to quote #2 today and just have some fun. Thanks for giving me something to think about!
Warmly, Gloria
Hi Gloria! I’m sure you aren’t alone with all the jobs around the home. We do need to give ourselves permission and break out of routine sometimes. I’ve booked a one day yoga retreat for April and I can’t wait. Have a fabulous week and have some fun!!!
<3 the last one!! Thank you!
that is the key Michelle. Being able to work out what is most important in our life and then adding everything after that.
Love them! Every. Single. One. 🙂
Thanks Wendy!
